Yesterday we went skiing at Kirkwood. It was the first time Shuchi saw snow, so she was very excited. She did let me go up the lift alone, while she was practising. :-)
Today it was Sunnyvale Hindu Temple, lunch at California Pizza Kitchen, and the movie 50 first dates. It was awesome, the first movie of its kind, and the best take on amnesia i've seen so far.
Earlier this week, we've also seen:
The usual suspects was good, but didnt live up to its hype. If you're 18th on the IMDB Top 250, something more than an unexpected climax is expected. By comparison, I would rate Ocean's Eleven higher.
Fire and Bombay were ok. Bombay had a somewhat cliche storyline and climax (as is to be expected). I had seen Shawshank Redemption and Austin powers earlier and liked em. Shuchi liked them too.
